A message from activists in Ukraine:
“A team of 6 people with 1 van and 1 car is already on the way to Buchach and Mukachevo. Coordinated with local charities, we will deliver food and essential items to people in need. We’ll start collecting donations in Presov, Slovakia, and bring stuff over to people in need in Ukraine.
The local charities already put us in touch with people in need and gave us a list of stuff that we can collect for them such as:
Hygiene goods: toothpaste, razors, laundry powder, soap, shampoo, etc.
Medics: jod , medicaments , sedatives, etc.
Electronics: kettles, generators, walkie-talkies, mobiles PWB
Other : camping gas cookers, camp cutlery , tents, sleeping bags, shoes, summer clothing, outdoor clothing, camping equipment.
Food : cans of food, pasta , sugar, flour, instant food, oil, milk…
Then, we’ll also help the local charities with our van and arms to do whatever will be needed to do!”
The money raised through Sounds not Bombs and the London Makhnovist Center will help buy the supplies needed for the mission to succeed.
CURRENTLY OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE IN MUKACHEVO WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN BUILDING A SHELTER FOR REFUGEES AND ORPHANS.
